Frequently at the center of debate in Spain, Vinícius Júnior continues to stir up mixed reactions. Between on-field provocations and the racist insults he is regularly subjected to, the Real Madrid forward is operating in an especially tense environment.

Asked about the Brazilian's situation, Eden Hazard made a point of offering his support.

"He has so much on his mind before even starting a match, sometimes I just think, 'poor guy.' He knows what’s going to happen, and there are never any sanctions."

The former Belgian international also addressed the constant pressure surrounding the Madrid star.

"And it must be tough to deal with, I wouldn’t be surprised if he retired at 30," while also reminding that Vinícius remains "an exceptional player."
