The first ten editions of the FIFA Arab Cup were claimed by five different national teams. While Iraq lifted the trophy four times and Saudi Arabia twice, three other nations have each won the title once.

Tunisia triumphed in the inaugural edition, held in 1963 in Lebanon. Egypt seized the crown in 1992 in Syria, Morocco took the title in 2012 in Saudi Arabia, and Algeria are the current holders.
