Harry Kane will continue to write his story with Bayern Munich. The German club has officially announced that its England forward has extended his contract and is now tied to the Bavarians until the summer of 2029. The decision confirms both parties’ desire to continue their collaboration.

Kane extends his contract after winning the Ballon d’Or

Having arrived from Tottenham in the summer of 2023, Harry Kane quickly established himself as one of Bayern Munich’s key players. At 33, the England international has just won the Ballon d’Or, an accolade that recognises his performances at the highest level. With his contract initially set to expire, the Bavarian club decided to secure his future by offering him an extension until 2029.

The forward made no secret of his attachment to his current surroundings. “I feel at home at FC Bayern. I love the club, the fans and the city of Munich. My whole family is very happy here,” he said on the club’s official website. Kane also highlighted the quality of the squad and the work of Vincent Kompany, saying he wanted to win many more trophies with Bayern.

Impressive statistics since his arrival

The England international’s numbers underline his importance to the Munich project. Since arriving in 2023, he has scored 156 goals and provided 41 assists in 161 official matches. His remarkable efficiency persuaded the club’s management to build around him for the coming seasons.

With this extension until 2029, Bayern Munich retains one of its leading attacking players for several more seasons. For Kane, the new contract also offers the chance to continue his pursuit of titles in Germany and in European competition, in an environment where he says he feels completely at home.
