The Burkina Faso national team is set to face Russia in a friendly match on June 5, 2026, at the Volgograd Arena.

For the first time in history, the Stallions of Burkina Faso will meet Russia’s Sbornaya on June 5 in an international friendly. The showdown will take place during the June 2026 FIFA window at the Volgograd Arena, a stadium with a capacity of over 45,000 spectators.

In addition to this match, coach Amir Abdou and the Stallions will play a second friendly against another African side at the August 4 Stadium in Ouagadougou.
