As a pundit during this 2026 World Cup, Zlatan Ibrahimović shared his thoughts on the French national team after Les Bleus' elimination by Spain.

The AC Milan legend believes Les Bleus need a manager more than just a coach. Speaking to FOX Sports, the former Swedish captain discussed the future of the French team and the profile of Zinédine Zidane, rumored to be Didier Deschamps' successor.

"Zidane did a great job at Real Madrid, he won three Champions Leagues. We all know he'll take over the national team. He'll simply continue the work Deschamps has built," he said.

According to Ibrahimović, the real challenge won't be picking the players, but managing the group: "This team doesn't need a coach. It needs a manager. He has to bring his own leadership style and know the right moment to make changes."
