Kylian Mbappé is expected to start the World Cup 2026 semi-final against Spain tonight.

However, the French forward could take the field while carrying some pain. In fact, on the eve of the match, the France captain trained individually due to discomfort in his right ankle, according to information from RMC.

It was a knock in that area that prompted him to come off as a precaution during the quarter-final against Morocco (2-0) last Thursday. Still, nothing appears to be serious. Speaking at a press conference, manager Didier Deschamps nevertheless assured that Mbappé is 100% fit.
