Before the much-anticipated clash between France and Senegal, the president of the French Football Federation, Philippe Diallo, made it a point to reassure everyone about the team's atmosphere.

Speaking to RMC Sport ahead of France vs Senegal, Diallo dismissed the recent rumors of tension, particularly those linked to player bonuses. He confirmed that talks with Les Bleus had taken place in a calm, constructive environment. According to him, the squad is showing the perfect mindset—blending humility, ambition, and eager anticipation to get the tournament underway.

"What I saw in the press was, above all, very far from reality. In fact, things with the players went extremely well. In just a few minutes, we reached an agreement on everything, so there was neither tension nor any friction," he stated.
