Real Madrid: José Mourinho discusses progress
Last Sunday, Real Madrid confirmed their good form by comfortably beating Racing Santander (3-0) in La Liga. Another victory that further reassures José Mourinho.
Following his team's sixth consecutive victory in all competitions, Real Madrid manager José Mourinho assessed the progress made by the Merengues. "We are not yet at 100%, but we are progressing. In less than four months, that's not much time, but we are moving forward little by little. I gradually understood things that I did not understand on the first day. Then the players came to understand my personality as a coach better. They understand the things that, for me, are non-negotiable," the Portuguese coach told the press.
Tomorrow, Real Madrid will look to make it two wins in a row away to AEK Athens in the Champions League.
No new signings in January
While Los Blancos are on a run of six consecutive victories in all competitions, the club is gaining momentum under José Mourinho. Already satisfied with the performances of the Real Madrid squad, the Merengues' directors do not intend to make a move during the upcoming winter transfer window, according to information published by AS newspaper on Monday.
The Portuguese coach and the leadership of Los Blancos do not feel the need to strengthen the team, despite rumors of a midfielder being recruited.
