The Yan Diomandé situation has been generating plenty of talk at Real Madrid and in Spain ever since the Ivorian forward began scoring goal after goal.

According to revelations by newspaper AS, Ivorian international Yan Diomandé has become “undisputed” within the Merengue club. The former RB Leipzig winger has scored four goals and provided four assists this season. He has taken advantage of Vinicius Jr’s suspension to shine.

Having arrived at the White House from RB Leipzig for €125 million, the 19-year-old winger’s transfer could rise to as much as €140 million through various add-ons. One of them is a €2.5 million bonus claimed by the German club if the Ivorian were to win the Ballon d’Or while wearing the Merengues’ colours.

Diomandé stunned against Racing Santander

Last Sunday, in the 3-0 La Liga victory over Racing Santander, Yan Diomandé scored a superb volley. In the mixed zone, Jude Bellingham reflected on the Ivorian’s effort. “It’s incredible. I didn’t know he could strike the ball like that. He’s very good. He had already shown it at Leipzig. He’s a special player and we’re very happy to have him in our squad,” he said.
