Victor Osimhen's written his name into Turkish football history books capping off dream debut season at Galatasaray with the 2024 - 25 Super Lig Golden Boot.

Unstoppable Osimhen Tops the Charts

The Super Eagles forward netted 26 goal in the league, finishing 5 ahead of Krzysztof Piatek & 6 clear of Youssef En Nesyri. His blistering form was key in guiding Galatasaray to the league title and securing domestic double that included the Turkish cup.

Player of the Season , And a First for Nigeria

On top of clinching the Golden Boot, Osimhen was also named Player of the Season , an honor that underlines his impact in Istanbul.

He becomes the first Nigerian ever to top the Super Lig scoring charts joining elite list of African greats who’ve done the same, including:

• Aatif Chahechouhe (Morocco 2014)
• Mbaye Diagne (Senegal 2019)
• Aaron Boupendza (Gabon 2021)

Another Golden Chapter in Growing Legacy

This isn’t Osimhen’s first taste of goal scoring glory. Just 2 year ago, he led Napoli to historic Serie A title, becoming Italy’s top scorer in 2022 - 23.

Now he adds Turkey to his collection making him one of the rare African players to win Golden Boots in two of europe’s top leagues.
