Guinean star Ibrahima Soumah signs a new professional contract in Moldova
21-year-old Guinean star Ibrahima Soumah seems to be on the verge of a new experience after he officially signed with Moldovan side Sheriff Tiraspol, who are always having good experiences in the European competitions in which the Moldovan side competes, having been a former SOAR Academy player and a former player of Zimbru Chișinău.
What Ibrahima Soumah had to say about this new experience
In an exclusive interview with Africa Foot, the Guinean superstar revealed that he is very excited about this new experience with his new team, saying:
This is a great opportunity that I have to seize. Sharif is a club used to European competitions. I'm proud, but above all, I'm aware of the responsibility that awaits me. The contact was made after our game against Cherif last season. My name was mentioned a lot, even in training. I preferred to focus until the end of the season, but then things started to change.
On his experience with Zimbru Chișinău, the defensive midfielder had this to say:
It was my first experience in Europe. The club welcomed me with open arms and I learned a lot, both athletically and personally. I will always be grateful to them. It's every African player's dream. But before that, we have to get the season off to a good start this weekend. We will stay focused.
The player wants to have a new experience with his well-known Moldovan team and represent his country well in European tournaments.
