How Esperance Tunisia beat Los Angeles FC

Saturday, June 21, was a happy day for the Tunisian team representing their country at this major sporting event in the United States, after they were able to record a convincing 1-0 win against Los Angeles FC at Geodis Park.

This win was not easy for Esperance Tunisia to achieve because the team suffered three difficult matches without a win in the group stage of this international competition, and the last match they lost 2-0 against Brazilian Flamengo, who are doing well with the rest of the Brazilian teams in this tournament.

How did Esperance manage to get such an important win?

In this match, the Tunisian team was able to achieve a remarkable victory over Los Angeles FC after it succeeded in creating many successful opportunities to score on the goal, and then the distinguished Youcef Belaili arrived and scored the last goal of the match, which at the end of the transformation to be the winning goal for Esperance Tunisia.

Although many of Esperance's chances were blocked by the experienced Frenchman and former Spurs keeper Hugo Lloris, the Tunisian visitors eventually managed to secure the victory after their goalkeeper saved a penalty kick awarded to the American team in injury time.

LAFC squandered a late chance to equalize when Marlon won a penalty, but Denis Bouanga’s weak spot-kick was saved by Bechir Ben Said’s legs.
