A former youth international for Belgium, the Brussels-born midfielder switched his sporting nationality to Congolese in 2023.

In a statement to FECOFA, the 20-year-old midfielder spoke about his initiative to convince other dual nationals to represent the “Leopards.”
I’m happy because I was one of the first players to choose Congo at such an early stage. Many players have followed my lead because I talked to several of them, and they are highly motivated to join. I’m glad to have started this movement, and I hope it won’t end here.
