Kaizer Chiefs played out to a goalless draw with Siwelele FC in a Betway Premiership clash at FNB Stadium on Wednesday.

Following a gruesome trip to the Democratic Republic of Congo in the CAF Confederation Cup, Amakhosi were looking to snap a winless run in the league.

However, the Bloemfontein-based outfit kept the Soweto giants at bay, grinding for a point in a match that lacked clear-cut goal-scoring opportunities.

As a result, Chiefs stretched their winless run to four games, with their last league victory dating back to August in a narrow win over Golden Arrows.

The Glamour Boys remain in fourth place on the log standings, having accumulated 16 points in nine league outings.

Meanwhile, Siwelele dropped to 15th place with eight points amassed from 10 matches in the Betway Premiership.
