Kamaldeen Sulemana to Atalanta: deal close

Kamaldeen Sulemana will not be playing in England next season. The 23-year-old Ghanaian winger is on the verge of joining Atalanta Bergamo, an ambitious Serie A club.

According to the latest reports, the transfer is almost complete. Kamaldeen Sulemana will sign a contract until 2029, with an option for an additional year. Southampton, recently relegated to the Championship, will receive around €18 million.

Last season, Kamaldeen Sulemana played 26 Premier League matches, scoring one goal and providing one assist. His stats don't fully reflect his potential, as his blistering pace and technical ability make him a real threat on the pitch.
