KRC Genk: Tolu Arokodare teases his coach Thorsten Fink

His recent call-up to the national team has boosted his confidence. During the press conference on Friday, April 4, Arokodare shared how this international experience has impacted his mindset.

"It gave me a huge extra boost. It's every player's dream and it has changed my mentality even more. It immediately felt like a team of friends," he stated to Het Laatste Nieuws.

Taking the opportunity, he teased his coach Thorsten Fink by saying:

“Now, I also have a leg up on our coach. He never played for the national team, did he? No, no, just kidding. He's very nice to me. I also see that he's copying my dressing style.”

This Sunday, April 6, Tolu Arokodare will play his 100th match in the Jupiler Pro League against Anderlecht. The striker is eager to mark this milestone with an exceptional performance and show no mercy against the Mauves.
