As he bounces back at Lille after a challenging year in Marseille, Chancel Mbemba has made a new decision concerning OM.

This Friday, OM faces Lille in Ligue 1. Ahead of his reunion with Olympique de Marseille, Chancel Mbemba harbors no feelings of revenge. To recap, the Congolese defender left on a free transfer last summer after a lengthy period sidelined. The Leopard approaches this special match-up with detachment, according to his coach Bruno Genesio. The player has decided not to hold any grudges against his former club.

"From what he’s told me, even though Chancel isn’t the most talkative, he holds no grudge against OM or anyone there. He was affected by what he went through, but I sense he’s now very detached, without any negative feelings," the coach said at a press conference.
