Linafoot: TP Mazembe takes the lead in the playoffs!

TP Mazembe kicked off the Linafoot playoffs in the best possible way. On Wednesday, at Stade de Kamalondo, Lamine Ndiaye's squad dominated CS Don Bosco with a 2-1 victory, confirming their status as favorites to succeed.

The first half was marked by high intensity but few concrete opportunities. It wasn't until the hour mark that the Ravens found the breakthrough.

In the 62nd minute, Christian Ibwa opened the scoring with an unstoppable header, beautifully assisted by a precision cross from Dieu-Béni Ndongala. Then, in the 75th minute, Louis Autchanga, opportunistic, doubled the lead to widen the gap.

Towards the end of the match, Don Bosco tried to turn the tide. Patrick Mwaungulu reignited the suspense in the 88th minute with a clever lob that fooled goalkeeper Aliou Faty. But it was too late to hope for a comeback.
