Liverpool launches a furious outcry against racism!
Liverpool's qualification against Galatasaray in the Champions League was overshadowed by a wave of racist messages aimed at Ibrahima Konaté. The French defender was targeted on social media after being deemed responsible for the incident that led to Victor Osimhen's injury.

In response to these attacks, the English club acted swiftly and decisively.
"Liverpool FC is appalled and disgusted by the vile and abhorrent racist abuse directed at Ibrahima Konaté on social media. This behavior is completely unacceptable."
Liverpool also emphasized the seriousness of these actions:
"It is dehumanizing, cowardly, and driven by hatred. Racism has no place in football, in society, or anywhere else—online or offline."
Liverpool will face PSG in the next round of the Champions League, the quarter-finals. As a reminder, it was PSG who eliminated Liverpool last season.
