Mohamed Salah named in Liverpool’s starting Line-up as Arne Slot announced his team for the Premier League match against Newcastle.

Liverpool head coach Arne Slot has confirmed his squad for the Premier League meeting with Newcastle United scheduled for Saturday at Anfield in matchday 24 of the 2025 /26 season.

The Reds enter the match sitting sixth in Premier League table with 36 point while Newcastle are tenth on 33 point making the fixture important for both sides in the race for European places.

The biggest headline from Slot’s selection is the inclusion of Mohamed Salah who starts in attack and will lead Liverpool’s frontline against Eddie Howe’s team.

Liverpool will line up with Alisson Becker in goal.

In defence, Slot chosen Dominik Szoboszlai, Ibrahima Konaté, Virgil van Dijk and Milos Kerkez.

The midfield three consist of Ryan Gravenberch, Alexis Mac Allister and Florian Wirtz offering mix of control & creativity.

Up front, Liverpool will rely on the attacking trio of Mohamed Salah, Hugo Ekitike and Cody Gakpo.

The substitutes include: Giorgi Mamardashvili, Wataru Endo, Federico Chiesa, Curtis Jones, Andy Robertson and several young options.

Newcastle, meanwhile, start with Nick Pope in goal.

Their back line features Kieran Trippier, Lewis Hall, Thiaw and Dan Burn.

In midfield, Joe Willock, Ramsey and Sandro Tonali are selected while the attack includes Harvey Barnes, Anthony Gordon and Willock again listed among the forwards.

Newcastle will hope their pace on the counter can trouble Liverpool at Anfield.
