Mahamadou Ba remains loyal to Kapaz PFK

Coveted abroad, Mahamadou Ba has ultimately chosen stability. The 25-year-old Malian midfielder has extended his contract for two more seasons with Kapaz PFK, a club competing in the Azerbaijani Premier League.

Since arriving last summer, Mahamadou Ba quickly found his footing in Azerbaijan. As a regular starter, he featured in 27 matches across all competitions, netting 3 goals and standing out for his ability to break lines and dictate the pace of play. His extension is seen as a strong statement from the club, which counts on Ba as one of the cornerstones of its sporting project for the coming seasons.
