Mamelodi Sundowns unveil their brand-new third kit
Mamelodi Sundowns, in partnership with Puma South Africa, have revealed a new third kit that draws its inspiration from the club's season-long "Never Stop Rising" campaign.
A new third kit for Mamelodi Sundowns
Having already introduced their yellow home strip and blue away kit for the 2026/27 season, Masandawana have now completed the set with the launch of the so-called "Rise Kit."
According to the club, the design takes its cue from the vast African sky, with white and blue tones symbolising hope, peace, opportunity and the idea that greatness has no limits. The kit dovetails with the "Never Stop Rising" theme, which speaks to the club's relentless drive for excellence while honouring the shared journey of the Yellow Nation across the continent.
The timing of the release is significant, as it coincides with the club's National Children's Day activities, lending the kit a deeper social dimension. Under the banner "Every Child Deserves to Rise," the club will throw its weight behind children's rights, dignity, protection and empowerment.
Reflecting on the initiative, club ambassador and former captain Hlompho Kekana said: "Through this Rise Kit, we aim to inspire children and the youth to dream beyond the skies, believe in their limitless potential, and rise above their circumstances to turn their dreams into reality. Because every child deserves the opportunity to dream, to achieve, and to rise. To those of us in leadership positions, this kit is a reminder to continue creating a conducive environment that nurtures and protects the well-being of kids."
The Rise Kit is set to be worn for the first time when Mamelodi Sundowns take on Durban City in a PSL fixture on Saturday, 31 October 2026.
