According to reports from the British press, Manchester United are close to sealing the deal for Bryan Mbeumo. After six seasons, it looks like Bryan Mbeumo's journey with Brentford is coming to an end. His final season with the Bees saw him rack up 20 goals and 9 assists in 42 matches. The Cameroonian winger's impressive stats have certainly caught the eye of Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim.

According to Ben Jacobs, with confirmation from Alex Crook, talks between United's decision-makers and their London counterparts have accelerated in recent days. The Red Devils have reportedly tabled an offer exceeding £60 million—just over €70 million—to buy out the final year of the player's contract.

The Cameroonian is expected to undergo his medical next week, the same sources add. He would then join André Onana, his international teammate for the past three seasons.
