Manchester United: Tolu Arokodare on the Red Devils' radar
Tolu Arokodare

Bryan Mbeumo isn’t the only African player catching Manchester United’s eye this summer. The Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare is also drawing serious interest from the Old Trafford hierarchy.

According to Graeme Bailey of TBR Football, Manchester United has added Tolu Arokodare to their shortlist of striker targets for the summer transfer window. The Red Devils have been impressed by the Nigerian forward’s prolific season in Belgium.

Tolu Arokodare delivered a standout campaign with Genk, finishing the season with 31 goals and claiming the Belgian Pro League’s golden boot. His form and style of play fit perfectly with what Manchester United is seeking, making him a prime candidate for the coveted number 9 role.

However, it remains to be seen if the Super Eagle is the right fit, even though he could prove to be a cost-effective solution compared to other names on the list. Manchester United scouts have also received positive reports on Victor Osimhen and Viktor Gyokeres.
