Despite numerous setbacks, Belgian coach Marc Brys is making a resounding success of his tenure at the helm of the Indomitable Lions.

Since his appointment as head of the Cameroon national team, he has strung together positive results, much to the delight of football fans across Cameroon.

During the last international break, the five-time African champions cruised past Uganda with a 3-0 victory before settling for a 1-1 draw against Equatorial Guinea.

In 12 matches played, he has recorded 7 wins, 5 draws, and remains unbeaten.

This is a remarkable record for the former KFCO Beerschot coach, far superior to that of his predecessor Rigobert Song, who is now in charge of the Central African Republic national team.

Marc Brys is on the verge of entering Cameroonian football history in spectacular fashion if he can guide the national team to qualification for the 2026 World Cup and clinch the ultimate prize at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
