Mohamed Salah's chances for the 2025 Ballon d'Or according to L'Équipe!

The chances of Mohamed Salah, the Egyptian winger for Liverpool, winning the 2025 Ballon d'Or have decreased after his team's elimination from the Champions League this season.
According to a poll conducted by the French newspaper "L'Équipe", Salah's chances significantly diminished following Liverpool's elimination by Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16.
The Reds were defeated (1-0) in the second leg of the Champions League Round of 16, a result identical to the first leg, where Mohamed Salah's teammates had prevailed. Thus, Liverpool was knocked out of Europe's most prestigious competition after a penalty shootout, losing (4-1).
