Nassim Innocenti heads to the Czech Republic

It's now official. Nassim Innocenti is set to join FK Jablonec in the Czech top flight. According to Foot Mercato, an agreement has been reached with MFK Košice for a transfer fee estimated at €300,000.

The 23-year-old central defender, a Burkina Faso international, is gearing up for a new challenge. Trained in France, the Crest native played 21 matches this season in Slovakia, providing one assist.

His defensive solidity and potential for growth have impressed the Czech management. At Jablonec, Innocenti will aim to establish himself as a defensive leader while continuing his development with an eye on strengthening his spot with the Burkina Faso Stallions.
