The winger Nathan Ngoumou is expected to be the big new inclusion on Marc Brys’ list, the coach of Cameroon, during the upcoming international break.

Born in France to a Cameroonian father and a Gabonese mother, the Borussia Mönchengladbach player is eligible to represent three national teams on the international stage.

According to the media outlet Street Foot, the former TFC player recently changed his sporting nationality from French to Cameroonian.

Here are 5 things to know about the new Indomitable Lion:

  • Trained at Toulouse, he joined Borussia Mönchengladbach in 2022 for 8 million euros.
  • His cousin is none other than Achille Emaná, the former Cameroonian international who scored 6 goals in 14 matches with the Indomitable Lions.
  • During the current season, he participated in 18 matches in the Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal, tallying 2 goals and 1 assist.
  • He can play in all three attacking positions.
  • His market value is estimated at 3.5 million euros on the specialized site transfermarket.
