OGC Nice: Elye Wahi slammed after OM clash

Since the match between OM and Nice, Elye Wahi has posted several provocative messages on social media—a move that Daniel Riolo finds baffling.

Elye Wahi's return to the Orange Vélodrome last weekend has been the talk of the town in recent days. While the Ivorian striker delivered on the pitch with a perfectly executed Panenka, his social media antics didn’t sit well with Daniel Riolo.

"I don't understand his attitude. If he's just a bottom-table striker you give the ball to up front, tell him to run and try to make something happen… For now, that's all he can do, that's the kind of player he is. He went to Germany, did nothing. He went to Lens, nothing. He went to Marseille, couldn’t put one foot in front of the other. And now he shows up and acts like a star. Oh, shut up! He wasn’t mistreated. If he wants to answer back to the banter, that's not the issue. But he shouldn't think of himself as a superstar," reacted the RMC journalist.
