Yesterday, OGC Nice snatched a valuable draw on the pitch of Olympique de Marseille (1-1) thanks to the Ivorian international, Elye Wahi.

Trailing behind, Les Aiglons leveled the score from the penalty spot late in the match with a brilliant Panenka by Elye Wahi in the 88th minute. The Ivorian striker had spent six months with the Phocéens in the 2024-2025 season.

His return to the Orange Vélodrome was anything but smooth. After his goal and the final whistle, the Ivorian was escorted off the pitch by police for his safety, accompanied by the Nice bench.
