OL: News on Moussa Niakhaté after his injury with Senegal

There's much more clarity now regarding Moussa Niakhaté's injury sustained while on international duty with Senegal.

He left his Senegal teammates precisely because of this injury. However, despite a knee issue, Moussa Niakhaté is not suffering from any major setback, according to reports from Le Progrès.

The Senegalese centre-back underwent medical tests that fortunately showed no significant abnormalities. Nonetheless, as a precaution, the former Metz defender may sit out Sunday's Ligue 1 clash at Rennes.
