Percy Tau's stint at Qatar SC may prove to be just a brief interlude. Arriving last January after his departure from Al Ahly, the South African international is reportedly in advanced talks with another Egyptian giant: Zamalek SC.

At 31, Tau appears ready to turn the page on a frustrating spell in Qatar. Hampered by injuries, he featured in only ten matches without finding the net, though he did provide four assists. It's a rather lackluster output compared to the level he previously displayed in Al Ahly colors, where he won over Egyptian fans with his explosiveness and technical flair.

Zamalek, eager for a fresh start after a challenging season, sees Percy Tau as a player capable of energizing their attack. This is according to Soccer Laduma, which reports that the deal could be finalized swiftly. The big question remains: will negotiations succeed?
