Premier League: Mohamed Salah equals Aguero's record!

Mohamed Salah continues to write Premier League history by matching the illustrious Argentine striker Sergio Agüero as the top foreign scorer in the history of the British championship. With a spectacular brace against Southampton (3-1) this Saturday, the Egyptian prodigy brought his total to 184 goals, a record he seems destined to surpass very soon.

In what might be his final season wearing the Reds jersey, Salah shines brightly, proving once again that he is one of the great craftsmen of English football.

Just four goals shy of Andy Cole (188 goals), the Pharaoh now aims for further ascent in the ranking of historical scorers. However, joining the legendary trio of Wayne Rooney (208), Harry Kane (213), and Alan Shearer (260) seems a tall order. Preview

182 goals in 292 matches for Mohamed Salah!

Revealed in the Premier League in 2014 under José Mourinho at Chelsea, Salah had only scored two paltry goals, hampered by lack of playing time and confidence. His stint in Italy transformed him, and his return to Liverpool in 2017 marked the rise of an exceptional striker.

With the incredible total of 182 goals in a Reds shirt, the Egyptian captain has established himself as an indispensable part of the red armada.

Just like Agüero, who made a strong impact from his debut at Manchester City, Salah scored his first goal for Liverpool in his very first match. Today, he joins the Argentine with the same total of goals, in 292 matches compared to 275 for the 'Kun', demonstrating his immense consistency and indelible talent.
