Responsible for the incident that led to Achraf Hakimi's serious injury, Luis Diaz has finally broken his silence.

On Tuesday night, Luis Diaz netted a brace against PSG in the Champions League as Bayern Munich secured a 2-1 victory. However, the Colombian was sent off before the end of the first half following a violent tackle on Achraf Hakimi. Since then, he has been the target of heavy criticism on social media, but the Bayern striker has now responded.

"It was a night full of emotions. Football always reminds us that in 90 minutes, anything can happen—the best and the worst. I was sad not to finish the match with my teammates, but proud of their incredible effort. I wish Hakimi a speedy return to the pitch," he wrote on his Instagram.
