Rayan Aït Nouri explains why he signed with Manchester City

He has just joined Manchester City and is already dreaming big. At 24, Rayan Aït Nouri, who recently signed a five-year contract with the English powerhouse, is fully aware of the challenge that awaits him under Pep Guardiola.

Speaking to the official Sky Blues website, the Algerian left-back didn’t hide his excitement:

I am very, very happy and extremely proud to join Manchester City. My family is very proud as well. It’s a wonderful day, and I can’t wait to play in this shirt.

Drawn in by City’s project, Aït Nouri says his decision was made quickly:

The decision was easy. I’ve always wanted to play for this team. I really love their style of play. The players are fantastic, and so is the coach.

With humility, but a real hunger to improve, the Algerian international intends to seize this opportunity to reach a new level:

It’s a pleasure to train with Pep Guardiola. I came here to learn, to develop, and to show what I’m capable of. I will give my best.
