Real Madrid considering loan move for Franco Mastantuono

Struggling in his debut season, Franco Mastantuono could already be set for a temporary exit from Real Madrid. The Madrid club is reportedly considering a loan move to help him take the next step in his development.

Arriving last summer from River Plate, the forward has yet to carve out a place in the squad rotation. With only 3 goals in 27 appearances and his playing time drastically reduced in recent weeks, his progress has stalled.

According to multiple sources, Real Madrid are prepared to send him out on loan for the 2026-2027 season. The aim is to give him a more prominent role elsewhere to accelerate his development. Despite this, Los Blancos remain confident in his potential. A permanent transfer is not on the table, and the club will not accept any loan deal with a purchase option.
