Real Madrid: Dani Carvajal announces his big comeback!

This is fantastic news that broke on Monday, June 30, 2025, for Real Madrid. Nine months after tearing his cruciate ligament, Dani Carvajal has announced his major return.

After a lengthy spell on the sidelines, Dani Carvajal is eager to get back on the pitch. He could make his much-anticipated comeback as early as Tuesday against Juventus in the Club World Cup round of 16. "I want to be part of the squad," the Spaniard told the media. "I've completed a few full training sessions with the team. We'll see if I'm called up tomorrow (Tuesday). I'm available for whatever the coach needs from me." he revealed.

The timing of this return is significant for the Spanish full-back, who admits he had doubts not so long ago. "If you'd asked me a month and a half ago, I would have said I couldn't imagine myself at the Club World Cup because of how I was feeling. But today, I feel ready." he said.

But things have changed at Real Madrid. Carvajal will have to battle Trent Alexander-Arnold to reclaim his starting spot.
