Struggling at Real Madrid, Franco Mastantuono is finding it hard to make his mark despite high expectations, prompting the Madrid club to consider a loan move to revive his progress.

Eight months after joining Real Madrid, Franco Mastantuono has yet to live up to the hopes placed on him. The former River Plate prodigy, who showed so much promise at the start, is seeing his influence wane in a squad where fierce competition leaves him with little room to shine.

Given a starting spot against Alavés, the Argentine couldn't really turn things around. Despite increased playing time, his performances remain inconsistent, falling short of the standards expected at a club of this stature.
