Betway Premiership outfit Richards Bay are on the verge of completing the signing of Tully Nashixwa from Namibian giants African Stars.

The 23-year-old is said to have given the Natal Rich Boys a greenlight on a potential move, with the two clubs also in advanced negotiations according to whispers echoing in Namibia.

Nashixwa is extremely versatile and athletic as he can turn out as a centre-back, right-back and a defensive midfielder - and boasts CAF Champions League experience.

The Namibia international, who made his national team debut in October 2024, also played for Ramblers FC and Tigers Windhoek in his native country.

He will become the latest January signing for the KwaZulu-Natal outfit, following the arrival of former Orlando Pirates defender Thembela Sikhakhane on a free transfer.

Meanwhile, Richards Bay sit ninth in the Betway Premiership, having picked up 17 points in 14 games, and return to action with a visit from Siwelele FC on Friday, 23 January.
