Salifou Soumah signs with Malmö FF on a four-year deal!

After an impressive season with Zira FK, young Guinean winger Salifou Soumah has committed to Malmö FF, the reigning Swedish champions and qualifiers for the UEFA Champions League qualifying rounds.

At just 21 years old, Soumah joined Zira in the summer of 2023 from Le Havre AC (France) in relative anonymity. But he quickly made his mark on the Azerbaijani league, putting in standout performances: 12 goals and 7 assists in 42 matches.

According to French outlet Foot Mercato, the Guinean international has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract with Malmö, with an option to extend until 2030. The transfer fee exceeds one million euros, with a negotiated resale percentage in favor of Zira.

Blessed with blistering pace and top-notch technical ability, Soumah had been on the radar of several French clubs before Malmö swooped in to seal the deal in the final hours.
