For several weeks now, Rwanda’s Armée Patriotique du Rwanda (APR FC) has been mounting a determined campaign to sign the 28-year-old shot-stopper. The Rwandan club, seeking a replacement for the recently departed Pavelh Ndzila, has identified Obassa as the ideal candidate. Negotiations have taken place between both parties, and an agreement appeared within reach.

But Remo Stars have never loosened their grip. The club is determined to build on its solid foundation to make a strong impression in the CAF Champions League.
