Stade Tunisien: Chokri Khatoui to succeed Maher Kanzari
Stade Tunisien wasted no time in appointing a new coach after Maher Kanzari's move to Espérance Sportive de Tunis. The experienced local technician Chokri Khatoui (57 years old) has been chosen to take the helm of the team.
A strategic choice for the club's officials, as Khatoui already knows the club well. He managed the team in 2018-2019 and left a good impression.
Commitment until 2027
A preliminary agreement has been reached between the two parties according to the Tunisian press. The official signing of the contract, lasting one and a half years, is expected in the coming hours.
Chokri Khatoui's mission will be to lead Stade Tunisien to a successful end of the season. His main objectives will be to advance far in the Tunisian Cup, a competition in which the club holds the trophy, and to aim for a qualifying spot in continental competitions.
With his experience and knowledge of Tunisian football, Khatoui has the necessary qualities to meet this challenge. The Stade supporters hope that this return will bring success to their team.
