In one of the most spectacular matches of this Club World Cup, Borussia Dortmund clinched a precious 4-3 victory over Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday night at TQL Stadium, in the second round of Group F action.

The South Africans struck first in the 11th minute through Lucas Ribeiro Costa, but the Germans responded quickly, netting three goals in rapid succession courtesy of Felix Nmecha (16'), Serhou Guirassy (34'), and Jobe Bellingham (45').

After the break, the Black and Yellows extended their lead thanks to an own goal from Khuliso Mudau (60'). But the Sundowns refused to give up: Reiners pulled one back just two minutes later (62'), then Lebo Mothiba reignited the drama deep into stoppage time (90'). A truly breathless finale.

Fluminense gets the job done against Ulsan Hyundai (4-2)

In the other group match, Fluminense came from behind to defeat Ulsan Hyundai after trailing 2-1 at halftime, eventually sealing a 4-2 win.

The Brazilians found the net through Jhon Arias (27'), Gustavo Nonato (66'), Juan Pablo Freitas (83'), and Keno (90'+3), while the Koreans replied via Jin-Hyeon Lee (37') and Won-Sang Eom (45'+3).

Tight standings ahead of the final matchday

After this round, Fluminense remains top of the group with 4 points, level with Borussia Dortmund but ahead on goal difference. Mamelodi Sundowns are close behind on 3 points, while Ulsan Hyundai are already eliminated after two defeats.
