This Tuesday, Sweden will take on France in their round of 16 clash at the 2026 World Cup.

Kim Källström, head of Swedish national teams, is bracing for a tough match against Les Bleus tonight. Still, he believes in Graham Potter's players pulling off a surprise.

"We've gradually built up momentum, managed to qualify (via the play-offs), and now we're here in the knockout stage—so that gives us confidence. But we also know we’re not the favorites against France, one of the best teams, if not the best, in the tournament’s group stage. The challenge is massive, but anything can happen. (...) In a World Cup, there’s never a true favorite, but what France has achieved so far is really impressive," the former midfielder told L'Equipe.
