Tammy Abraham set to join Besiktas
English striker Tammy Abraham, a Chelsea academy product, is set to sign with Besiktas in a transfer reportedly valued at €20 million.
The deal was revealed by Fabrizio Romano, who confirmed that Abraham has agreed to join the Turkish giants. This move comes as a major financial relief for Roma, who needed to secure €13 million before June 30 to meet Financial Fair Play requirements.
Also courted by Galatasaray and Zenit Saint Petersburg, Abraham ultimately chose Besiktas. Last season, on loan at AC Milan, he netted 10 goals and provided 7 assists in 45 appearances. However, the Rossoneri did not trigger the option to buy. Having joined Roma in 2021 for €41 million plus €4 million in bonuses, Abraham will now leave Serie A for the Turkish Super League.
