Thiago Silva's son makes his debut with England U15
At just 14 years old, Iago Silva, the youngest son of Thiago Silva, made his international debut for England's U15 side in a 3-0 win over Cyprus.
Starting at left-back, he continues his development at Chelsea's academy alongside his 17-year-old brother Isago. Despite this first call-up for England, Iago Silva still has the option to represent Brazil in the future, adding an international twist to the next generation of the Silva family.
His father, a Brazilian football legend, boasts 113 caps for Brazil and an impressive trophy haul, including the Champions League and the Club World Cup. At 41, Thiago Silva remains active on the pitch and made a surprising return to FC Porto in December 2026, twelve years after his first stint with the club.
