Trabzonspor moves for Christopher Wooh

Christopher Wooh, central defender for Stade Rennais, is the subject of an official bid from Trabzonspor, a top-flight Turkish club. The deal could be wrapped up quickly, with a transfer expected during this summer's window.

Listed as surplus to requirements at the end of the 2024–2025 season, the Cameroonian defender's future is set to continue far from Rennes after three seasons in Brittany. With coach Habib Bèye not including him in his plans for next season, the 23-year-old could be on his way to Turkey to continue his career. Trabzonspor has confirmed its interest in Christopher Wooh. According to sources close to the negotiations, a bid of around €5 million has been submitted to Stade Rennais.

Trabzonspor, aiming to bolster its defensive line for the 2025/26 campaign, sees Wooh as the perfect fit. After making their offer, the Turkish club is hoping to finalize the Cameroonian's transfer in the coming days.
