Transfer window: this Senegalese talent set to sign with Porto
Heading to Portugal for Mame Alassane Niang. Having arrived late Sunday night, the 20-year-old Senegalese striker is now in Porto to finalize his transfer.
Developed at Diambars, Mame Alassane Niang left Senegal in 2024. After stints at Lyn and then HamKam in Norway, the young center-forward’s performances caught the eye of the Dragons. According to Wiwsport, FC Porto has reached an agreement with HamKam for a fee estimated at €2.5 million.
Only the medical examination remains before the contract is signed. If he passes the tests, Niang will officially join Porto and is expected to start out with the reserve squad. The club is banking on his potential and room for development for the future.
