PSG players get into Halloween mode
The Parisians shared a Halloween dinner on Saturday evening, the day after their emphatic Ligue 1 win at Le Havre.
After making a perfect start to the ninth round of Ligue 1 with a resounding victory over Le Havre (1-5), powered by a hat-trick from Achraf Hakimi and goals from Senny Mayulu and Mika Godts, the reigning two-time European champions extended the evening away from the pitch. According to L’Équipe, the entire Paris squad was invited to a dinner held on Saturday evening at a restaurant in Paris’s 8th arrondissement, as part of a special Halloween evening.
An initiative to build team unity
It was an opportunity for the players to meet up in a different setting and share a convivial moment after their victory. According to the French outlet, all members of the squad were invited to this evening focused on team unity, before quickly returning to their sporting routine. Attention has now turned to Tuesday’s trip to Villarreal in the Champions League.
Luis Enrique is unlikely to be able to count on the four senior players who were absent against HAC: Dembélé, Nuno Mendes, Marquinhos and, of course, Kvaratskhelia. The players are resting this Sunday.
