In recent weeks, injuries have been piling up at Paris Saint-Germain. Luis Enrique has addressed the issue.

Paris Saint-Germain have lost several players to injury in recent days. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Nuno Mendes, Ousmane Dembélé and Marquinhos have all joined the injury list for some time.

Luis Enrique and his team are managing the situation as best they can

Asked about these fitness issues on the eve of the trip to Le Havre, Luis Enrique said that he and his staff were doing their best to limit these injuries as much as possible.

“We like to have as much control as possible over the issue of injuries. It has been an important subject since we arrived. Some players are better suited to avoiding injuries, while for others it is the opposite. The ability to perform sport at high intensity varies. Training loads need to be varied. I think that throughout my coaching career, we have managed to control this. There are worse periods and better ones, and I am happy with what we are doing. Injuries are part of top-level football and they are difficult to control,” he said at a press conference.
